Fart Proudly

A founding father, in a less formal mood.

The paper behind the title

In his letter of September 16, 1783, Benjamin Franklin tells Richard Price about a humorous paper he had written in response to an academy’s prize question.

Read the record

The National Archives identifies that paper as To the Royal Academy of Brussels.  This entry points to the correspondence; it does not claim possession of an original manuscript.
